Easing Covid-19 restrictions has allowed FM Logistic teams to fully resume their project activities with the Independent Robinsons Foundation in Poland. On 21 and 22 May, two workshop sessions “What is logistics?” were organised for the Robinsons.
On Friday 21 May, FM Logistic employees went to the Krzywy Komin Professional Development Centre in Wroclaw to meet young beneficiaries of the Independant Robinsons Foundation, during workshops organized by them.
These face-to-face meetings were long awaited by young beneficiaries as well as FM Logistic employees.
Another meeting took place on Saturday 22 May on the FM Logistic platform of Tomaszów Mazowiecki. The FM Logistic teams in turn organized another workshop “What is logistics?” this time with the young Robinsons coming from the center of Łód.
These were two intense but rewarding days.
WHAT IS A WORKSHOP “WHAT IS LOGISTICS?”
It is an innovative formula for discovering the logistics professions through an educational and collaborative game.
These workshops are an important part of the “Safe Internship” program, an empowerment and responsability program for youth in foster care led in partnership by Independant Robinsons Foundation and the FM Logistic group since 2017.
This program is repeated every year thanks to the positive reception of pro-social initiatives by the management of FM Logistic Central Europe, the involvement of FM Logistic employees and their partner Independant Robinsons Foundation, and the financial support of FM Foundation.
In July, several of the FM Logistic teams will host interns as part of the Safe Internship program, which is in its 5th edition!
